Allulose

Allulose is an isomer of fructose, a low-calorie, functional food ingredient known to have antioxidant properties.

 

In particular, since the calories is almost 0kcal / g, it can be used as a sugar-free food ingredient and it contains low calories, so it is expected to be an effective prevention of obesity.

 

In the future, allulose is expected to be popular as a substitute sweetener for consumers, but it is expected that a moderate period will be required for its commercialization.
