About This Project

Corn syrup

Corn syrup is a sweetener prepared by using corn starch as a raw material and is characterized by its colorless and sweet taste.

Corn syrup is higher in calories than Oligosaccharides and has a higher viscosity than sugar. It is widely used for baking, confectionery, canning, candy, ice cream production, and has a luster when added to cooking.

In the case of commercially available refined syrup, the history of use by consumers is very short. However, in the case of rice syrup, it has been used as a sweetener not only in Korea but also in other countries, and especially for Korea, because it has been used as a sweetener for a long time, it is a natural sweetener material that has been loved by consumers as a friendly sweetener.

Experts expect that the market outlook for rice grain syrup and corn grain syrup will be brighter as consumers’ health needs increase.
